This role is pivotal in supporting the seamless operation of our team and ensuring our staff and contractors are compensated accurately and on time.

We’re looking for candidates who are meticulous, possess a strong understanding of payroll administration, and are familiar with payroll software (ADP preferred). Experience with QuickBooks and a solid grasp of general ledger reconciliation are also highly valued in this role. Excellent communication skills, the ability to handle confidential information with discretion, and a proactive approach to problem-solving will set you apart.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Communication: Engage effectively with both internal team members and external partners to address payroll queries and concerns.
  • Document Management: Manage the completion, verification, and filing of Form I-9s, ensuring compliance with documentation requirements.
  • Payroll Processing: Oversee bi-weekly payroll activities for both full-time employees and contractors using ADP software, ensuring accuracy in payments.
  • Financial Management: Handle the preparation and distribution of paychecks and direct deposits, maintaining stringent accuracy in all financial transactions.
  • Data Reconciliation: Work closely with the HR department to align employee data across systems and assist in the reconciliation of payroll-related general ledger entries.
  • Administrative Support: Perform various administrative tasks including drafting invoices and estimates via QuickBooks, as well as managing payroll system adjustments and corrections.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Expected hours: 40 per week

Education:

  • Bachelor’s (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Payroll management: 3 years (Required)
  • ADP: 2 years (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:
