Valhalla Vitality is a telemedicine holistic wellness center dedicated to giving patients convenient access to health-promoting therapies that improve well-being. The team at Valhalla Vitality approaches medicine from a holistic point of view using science and technology. The wellness center provides peptide therapy for fat loss and anti-aging, innovative weight loss therapies such as Semaglutide and Tirzepatide, and testosterone replacement therapy to restore hormone balance. We are seeking an energetic Medical Scribe to join our team! The Medical Scribe should bring robust qualifications and a strong desire to contribute their knowledge and expertise to a meaningful program. The Medical Scribe will be assisting Vitality Providers by helping to manage prescription orders and overall help the Vitality clinic provide optimal client care.

Responsibilities

· Checking in and checking out patients before and after the appointments

· Managing prescription orders and helping Providers send these orders

· Assist the providers with fundamental patient care including chart management and ensuring patient data is up to date

· Assist staff with the review of symptoms, history, condition, and treatment

· Review laboratory results and address critical values

· Review consumer medical documentation and or health referral forms, as relevant to the case

· Enter evaluation data into electronic evaluation form and transmit, as required

· Emphasize continuity of care, thus reducing or eliminating fragmentation, duplication, and gaps in the treatment plan

· Enhance communication and collaborative relationships with interdisciplinary care team members to improve care coordination and facilitate service delivery

· Collect quality review data and any required documentation to support outcome measurements and record case notes

· Ad hoc projects as needed

Qualifications:

· Experience with medical terminology: 1 year (Required)

· Medical setting: 2 years (Required) (will also accept medical students with no work experience)

· Ability to work with clinical technology to fulfill process and workflow needs

· Ability to multitask, prioritize in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines with minimal supervision

· Strong communication and client care skills

· Ability to work independently without supervision but keep an open line of communication with management

· Ability to work under pressure

· Exceptional interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
